Lynne’s House
Providing Secure and Supported Living
Lynne's House is a Second-Stage Program providing a continuum of services through supported, independent living for women and children deemed high needs or high risk of continued abuse.
Lynne’s House is connected to Hope Haven’s emergency shelter. It was developed as a rural cost-effective way of providing longer-term accommodations to our clients. Lynne’s House includes 2 separate apartment units in a secure building monitored by emergency shelter staff, and access to all Hope Haven programming. Client’s pay a small rent while working on set goals as they transition into long-term housing.
2nd stage clients become clients of the shelter's outreach program and are provided:
Case planning and support
Lay counselling
Supported referrals
Opportunity to attend shelter groups & programming
